Remote workers, travelers, and community builders.

Before creating Mate, we ran a relocation agency in Italy and hosted group trips, pop-up colivings, and cultural experiences. We saw how quickly strangers could become friends through shared routines, conversations, and adventures.

When we began traveling as digital nomads ourselves, we realized something was missing. Beautiful places but fleeting connections. We wanted a deeper sense of community and growth.

So we created Mate: a community of experiences built around retreats, expert bootcamps and seasonal coliving, all focused on connection, shared learning, and meaningful moments.

Today, people join our experiences to live, work, and grow together. They arrive as strangers and leave as mates, with new ideas, clarity, and friendships that last long after the trip ends.

What is Mate?

A drink. A friend. A way to turn strangers into something real.

Mate is inspired by the South American ritual of sharing: a symbol of connection, curiosity, and community.

We turned that into a new way of experiencing travel: curated retreats, bootcamps and coliving spaces for professionals, creatives and entrepreneurs.

Travel with a small group, share skills, learn hands-on, and find clarity with other professionals while exploring new places together.
